Some of these rules are just ridiculous though. Like logically if you always do a heavy shoulder check why tf would you get dinged for that? Most people barely look behind them but if they do that twice that's better than my signal mirror exaggerated shoulder checking? Also such weird stuff. "Oh if you are passing a recycling truck you need to signal" like wtf? If you are going down a road around something you only really have one option, anyone would know what you are going to do. Like lol. Just crazy that there are so many drivers, and America/Canada has terrible ways of getting your license (vs like Sweden or Finland) but they will punish you for such garbage.

I stopped caring how other people drive.... most of you are idiots that I wont hesitate to pass at whatever speed I feel like. The slow pokes are way more dangerous than I am. Literal obstacles that no one expects to be moving that slow. Most people including the people that read this wont ever understand that the biggest contribution to accidents and risk for an accident is human decision making. A slow driver on a highway going 55 in a 65 is more dangerous than a fast driver going 85 in the same 65. The 85mph driver is the only one making decisions to pass and switch lanes or not to. Most of you dont know im even there until im already passing you. The slow poke going 55 in a 65 causes 100s and 1000s of people to have to make decisions to get around them and those people to have to make decisions to navigate around the people trying to navigate around the slow poke. Again most people will never get this but speeding increases lethality and not accident frequency. Majority of people you see going 100 dont crash at all... however when they do they die. The people going 55 or the speed limit crash way more often and die still die just not as often.

I need the upgrade my licence. I NEED TO. This year. I have a plan. I am doing so so much better where I am currently than ever in every way. Almost every way. The lack of being on the road, stuck in a warehouse for the past 6 months is starting to wear on me. It's boring and slow dead. It's getting to me and it's weird because I am paid well, so well, to do..m not much. Or I need to find a project. I'm cutting wood and building pallets. We are sawing apart and disposing of giant mobile ladders. Skilsaws and nail guns. Or counting inventory. Just boring and I get a break. And get out on the road sometimes and I am paid much better than ever before. So what's my problem? Well, with an air break endorsement, I can easily jump my salary substantially, and make/save a decent amount of money over the next 15 or 20 years. Which I need to do and should have done long about. My only choice is a licence boost. So... Friday, I took Friday off last minute. My car has been giving me problems one thing after another caused by what I just got fixed previously. Fix one thing, something connected goes out of wack, my manager (who I know has it rough himself) is missing work, leaving them it's firmly on my clshoulders and nothing is good enough for him. I have never felt more stupid or incompetent, even though it's not true, he's just OCD. He's at home, yelling at me on the phone. I took Friday off, he called me Friday for ride on the way by I told him In wasn't coming in. I was driving my brother to work, somethings rubbing my tire, I drove my bro into work, he's very my me a part from work, I won't be in. I didn't want to hear his birth ng about what we did, while he didn't come in, talked to like a child. I sent for info on DZ at the Transport Training Center. I NEED to do it now. So I go into work today. Immediately he tells me "yeah, when the boss gets in, she's probably gonna want to talk to you...." I said oh yeah, why? Because I don't really take his crap, I snap back or correct him. I get defensive (but he's a hard a$$ too. This ain't VALE man. Inco. I'm not making $50 an hour... This could be him getting me into shape, sharpening me up so he can do what he needs to do, he doesn't need to be there) what does she want be to talk about?... She wants to get you a DZ through here. Practically. It allows us to upgrade trucks for weight. There only one driver and me as a backup. I said yeah.... That would keep me here for a bit... Not permanent or anything but he sort of got bothered by that. Well, that's not what I want... Get the licence and then quit and go somewhere else.. I stopped him right there, no, I'm fair. I'll stick around for a bit, It's probably in the contract, I need to stay for 1 or 2 years or pay for the licence anyway. That's the way it usually works, but it was never my plan. If they jump Kyle up in $ yeah. $26/hr, yeah. I'm making $21.12 hr (yes, the RUSH album) PLUS great benefits, pension, monthly paper cheques for my phone bill, stocks discount, they gave me a $250 cheque a few weeks ago vacations payout from the 3 months I worked last year. Boots paid for. 40+hrs a week. Better than anything I have ever seen. My last Boss tried to take everything he could from the workers. It's amazing, but it's not in the original plan. 1 year, while I upgrade my licence out of pocket but yeah. Get me a licence, and just say it... "You are awesome, well rounded and not easily replaced..." :) it's nothing new to me.
